NSO Detroit Healthy Housing Center
The NSO Detroit Healthy Housing Center (DHHC) will provide low-barrier emergency shelter to 56 adults and offer transformative health and social services for its residents and neighbors. It will offer services to help homeless individuals’ transition into the NSO Clay Apartments for permanent housing, a 15-bed medical respite for the homeless to receive continuing care post-hospitalization, a fully-integrated healthcare clinic, and other on-site wraparound services, including workforce development.Once an individual is placed in the DHHC by the Detroit Continuum of Care, we will provide a ...

Community of Hope weekend is a collaboration led by the Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO), together with the City of Detroit and The Right Productions, Inc., designed to energize, inspire, and deliver a community push for solutions to the challenges of unhoused individuals and families in metropolitan Detroit. SUNDAY, AUGUST 25, 2024Handlebars for the Homeless is a guided bicycle tour and will highlight some of Detroit’s hidden treasures. We are adding a new 6-mile tour route this year! This is an opportunity for non-seasoned bikers to join the ride. Rider's will be able to see neighborhoods that are being refreshed and revitalized.
