A Message From Metro 313 Cyclones Major Taylor Detroit

The Metro 313 Cyclones is a Major Taylor Association bicycle club based in Detroit, Michigan. Established in 2013, the club promotes recreational cycling and community engagement. We achieve this through group riding events for cyclists of all ages and levels. The Club also seeks to educate the public about its namesake, legendary cyclist Major Taylor, the “Black Cyclone”, who in 1899 became the first African-American world cycling champion.
