Join us on August 24, 2025, for NSO’s Handlebars for the Homeless 2025!
We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with setup, registration, rider support, hospitality, and more. Your time directly supports Detroiters experiencing homelessness and recovery.
🕓 Choose from three shifts, see below.
🧡 Roles include route guides, water station assistants, NSO info table hosts, and more.
👕 Volunteers receive t-shirts, snacks, and service hours.
🕒 Volunteer Shifts Available
Choose a shift that works best for your schedule. You’ll be able to select your preferred shift and role when you register.
Shift A – Early Morning Setup
🕓 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Help with event setup including signage, breakfast setup and volunteer check-in.
Shift B – Event Operations
🕓 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Support the ride while it's in motion! Roles include hospitality, route monitors, NSO table hosts, and on-call floaters.
Shift C – Breakdown & Cleanup
🕓 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Assist with clean-up, breakdown of equipment, and restoring the event site.
