Today NSO, Street Medicine Detroit and doctors from Beaumont Hospital treated a man suffering from frostbite while living in a tent on the I-94 service drive.
Tonight, tomorrow and for days after...thousands of homeless individuals will be experiencing Detroit's coldest temperatures in decades with wind chill expected to be between 25 and 40 degrees below zero tomorrow.
Even with warming centers set up around the city, like NSO's Tumaini Center and despite our continued efforts to transport them to shelter, many men and women will choose to remain on the streets.
Your donation will support NSO and its partners as we help those without a home to survive the most brutal of conditions.
