GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity held this year on December 1, 2020. GivingTuesday strives to build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity, unlocks dignity, opportunity, and equity around the globe.

As COVID-19 cases surge and the cold weather sets in, the need to keep our most vulnerable neighbors fed, safe and healthy has never been greater.

Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO) has chosen this global day of generosity to ask for your support in raising funds to provide healthy meals to feed the homeless men and women served through our Homeless Recovery Services (HRS) program.

The NSO Feeding the Homeless Fund will allow our Mobile Outreach team to provide meals for those experiencing homeless outside of the shelter system. These life saving interactions can help our outreach team establish the trust needed to move these individuals from the streets to a shelter and then to a home. The Fund will also help NSO ensure that the individuals we shelter are provided three meals a day. These meals not only provide nutrition, they encourage our homeless clients to remain sheltered during this critical time in the COVID-19 pandemic as there is no need for them to seek food outside of our facility.
